Apples Poems for Preschool and Pre-K Circle Time and Shared Reading

$6.00

Three poetry packs that contain poems for your apple theme to use in preschool and pre-k circle time and shared reading

Description

Shared reading is one of my VERY favorite things to do in preschool and pre-k. In about 5 minutes a day, you can maximize your time by covering multiple literacy skills all at once. Plus, the kid LOVE it! They love “reading” the poems and predictable charts over and over again during circle time, centers, and at home. This poetry pack bundle contains three different poetry packs that each give you several options. Here is what’s included and how you can use it:
Poetry Card: I print and laminate two copies. I put magnets on the back of one of them. I hang it on my board during the week that we are using it during circle time. After that, I put the one without magnets in my reading center.

Black & White Poetry Page: I make enough copies of this for each kiddo to have one. At the end of the week, I add it to their poetry folders. Sometimes I send a copy home as well.

Pocket Chart Words: I print, laminate, and cut the word and picture cards to use in the pocket chart. The kiddos can read it using pointers during centers.

Reproducible Books: I copy enough of these for each kiddo to have one. (If you collate the pages and cut across the middle, you’ll have two books! The kiddos can color the pictures and use the books to practice reading. I put them in their book boxes and sometimes send a copy home as well.

Poetry Props: I print, laminate, and cut the props to go along with the poem. I put magnets on the back of each piece and use them during circle time to retell the poem. At them end of the week, they move into my reading center for the kiddos to use during centers.
