I have been married to the love of my life, Matt, for over 20 years. We have raised three daughters and a son, and we are now getting to experience the complete joy of being grandparents. Our growing family has one grandson, one more on the way, and probably a lot more to come after that.
As much as I love my family (and that is a LOT!), the most important relationship I have is my relationship with Jesus. My faith guides my life, and I simply would not be the person I am today if I hadn’t made the decision to follow Him.
I don’t get a lot of spare time, but when I do you can usually find me running, binge watching police dramas on TV, or journaling. We are HUGE college football fans, so on Saturdays in the fall I can guarantee we will either be in Memorial stadium in Norman or in front of the TV watching our OU Sooners play. (Boomer Sooner!)
Some fun facts about me that not many people know… I don’t eat animals, but I can’t stand the label “vegan.” I’ve been in martial arts for over 20 years, and my husband and I run a martial arts school together. I am a full-blown introvert, and I’ve had to work really hard at developing my extroverted side when I’m coaching and training teachers.
I have spent over 20 years teaching and helping other teachers. I simply love it when I can use what I’ve learned over the years to help preschool teachers get back in control of their teaching. There’s nothing better than knowing I made a teacher’s life a little easier by helping them to avoid the same mistakes I had to learn the hard way.
